Hand-drawn and painted art pieces study the impact of light on the texture of architectural and natural profiles in both bold color and high-contrast black and white renderings. Mediums of the compositions include acrylic paint, graphite, and colored pencil. Honors and awards for the pictured works include a National Gold Medal from Scholastic Art Awards, for which the painting was displayed at the Pratt Institute in New York City for two years; Congressional Art Competition Winner, for which the painting was displayed in the United States Capitol for a year; and the highest bid at the annual McNicholas High School Auction, for which $4,600 was raised for the school.
